Our Services: Advanced weight loss support services

Our weight loss services are some of the most effective and enduring in the world. Our team have decades of experience dealing with extreme cases, including eating disorders, morbid obesity, food addictions, and the many health issues associated with obesity.

Part of what makes our approach to weight loss coaching and support so effective is that it touches every aspect of a person’s weight loss journey. Our treatment and coaching team include psychologists, psychiatrists, sports coaches, chiropractors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, dieticians, specialist chefs and addiction experts. This means we are able to create a holistic weight loss program that covers all bases and ensures that there is no hidden pitfall waiting for you on the other end.

So what services do we offer exactly?

Psychological Assessments & Support

The vast majority of people become obese because of psychological rather than physical problems. These psychological issues too often go untreateed, which is partly why so many people find it difficult to keep weight off once they’ve lost it. For long-term, lasting, permanent successs conquering unhealthy eating habits and addictions, psychological interventions are necessary. Our counsellors can provide 1-on-1 consultations and therapy sessions to coach you through your most problematic relationships with food.

Diet Planning & Cooking Advice

Sadly, one reason why some people find it impossible to lose weight is they simply don’t know how to cook appropriately. They have never been taught what a healthy, balanced diet looks like, nor what appropriate portion sizes look like for someone of their height and build. Knowledge on what kind of foods provide a lot of nutritional value and which provide almost nothing is severely lacking among certain demographics (usually poorer communities). This is an extremely depressing state of affairs, and we are committed to doing what we can to fix it. Our services will invariably include a detailed diet plan and some basic cooking advice to make the transition both easier and more sustainable long-term.

Exercise Planning

Proper exercise planning is key to sustainable, lasting weight loss efforts. While this is the one aspect of fat loss that people instinctively think about the most, it is actually the one that people over-emphasize and consistently get wrong most frequently. It is certainly important that you increase physical activity levels to speed up the fat loss process. However, the vast majority of the weight you lose will come from learning to eat less and to eat better, not from pounding pavements or pumping iron 3 hours a day, 7 days a week. In fact, going from no activity at all to an intense training routine will simply leave you burnt out, demotivated, and likely to fall into bad eating habits again. We can help you put together a training regime appropriate for your experience level, current BMI and goals.

Physiotherapy

Being obese long-term takes an incredible toll on the body. When the weight has finally been lost, you will need to give some thought to undoing or at least slowing down the effects of some of that damage. When someone has been obese for more than 5 years, their joints are typically in pretty bad condition. A solution to this is targeted physiotherapy. Our team offer physiotherapy sessions and training specifically for people who are recovering from recent substantial weight loss.
