Razalean Review Overview

After doing a full review of Razalean ingredients, before and after pictures, and side effects, we don’t think we’ll be recommending this fat burner to anybody. Any fat burner that uses a proprietary blend is a scam. The fact that Razalean contains so many cheap, useless ingredients makes it even more obvious that the formula is stuffed with fillers. Why waste your money on a fat burner like Razalean when there are better fat burners, with transaprent formulas and more effective ingredients, for a lot less money than $89.99?!

What is Razalean?

Razalean is one of the most popular fat burners on the market right now. This supplement is made by a company of the same name; they have two products in total, Razalean and Razalean PM. The company address listed on the website is a UPS shipping store, which doesn’t look great! Clearly this is a garage kind of outfit.

So what does Razalean do? According to the website, Razalean:

  1. Increases energy and endurance
  2. Blocks fat “production” and reduces fat storage
  3. Significantly reduces belly fat
  4. Delivers weight loss without changing diet and exercise

This last promise is a big red flag for us. Promising weight loss without having to diet or exercise is almost always a scam, unless of course you’re being offered surgery! Losing weight requires dieting and exercise. That is a simple and inescapable fact.

Razalean actually makes a couple of really questionable promises on the website. It states that Razalean is “Guaranteed To Help You Lose Weight”. We’re also told that it specifically reduces “belly size”. Most of you will know why these claims are necessarily misleading.

We’ll cover this more in greater detail later. The fundamental question we need to answer is, does Razalean really work? Is Razalean safe? Is this the best fat burner for you and your needs? Read our full Razalean review below for answers to all these questions and more.

Razalean Ingredients

What are the ingredients Razalean?

Here is the Razalean ingredients list as it appears on the bottle:

Razalean ingredients

Here are the ingredients in Razalean along with doses:

  • Razalean Proprietary Blend – 722mg
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Kelp
  • Green Tea (50% caffeine)
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • L-Arginine HCL
  • Caffeine Citrate
  • Turmeric Root Extract
  • CLA
  • Garcinia Cambogia (50% HCA)
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract (4:1)
  • Raspberry Ketones
  • Rhodiola rosea
  • 5HTP

As you can see, we aren’t told the doses for any of the ingredients in Razalean. That means that we don’t know how much any one of these ingredients is in the 722mg Razalean blend. Considering how many ingredients we have here, we know for a fact that at least some of them are dosed far too low to have any kind of effect.

We’ll now go through the Razalean ingredients one by one and explain what they do, whether or not they work and why we think they’ve been used in Razalean.

Cayenne Pepper – DOSE UNKNOWN

Cayenne pepper is a rich source of capsaicin. This is the oil which causes the burning sensation you get from spicy food. Consuming cayenne pepper tricks your body into thinking it is burning up, triggering a heat response. Your blood vessels dilate, you start sweating, and your heart beats faster. All of this costs a lot of calories. However, we don’t know how much cayenne pepper is in Razalean so we don’t know if there’s enough to produce results.

Caffeine Anhydrous – DOSE UNKNOWN

Caffeine is a standard ingredient in any good fat burner (except stimulant-free fat burners of course). Despite what many people might think, caffeine is an extremely powerful sitmulant. It rapidly reduces fatigue, sharpens focus, and increases energy levels. It also boosts motivatoion and suppresses appetite. All of this together makes caffeine an incredibly useful fat burner ingredient. But there is a major problem with Razalean’s use of caffeine; we don’t know how much we get per serving! There could be a dangerous dose of caffeine in Razalean for all we know.

Kelp – DOSE UNKNOWN

We have no idea why kelp is listed as a Razalean ingredient. There is nothing about kelp which makes it useful as a fat burner ingredient. Considering how cheap kelp is and how safe it is to take in relatively large quantities, we suspect it is being used as a filler ingredient in Razalean.

Green Tea (50% caffeine) – DOSE UNKNOWN

Green tea is another staple fat burner ingredient so its no surprise to see it in Razalean. Green tea is a rich source of EGCG; a catechin known to have powerful fat burning effects. However, the Razalean green tea extract is 50% caffeine, so it is probably quite low in EGCG. And once again, we don’t know how much green tea extract is in each serving of Razalean. Studies show you need to take 300-500mg of green tea extract per day to see significant results, and the Razalean blend is only 722mg in total size.

Apple Cider Vinegar – DOSE UNKNOWN

Apple cider vinegar is a hot ingredient right now. Over the last few years there have been dozens of apple cider vinegar supplements coming onto the market. All of them promise to make weight loss much easier. This is no doubt why it is a key Razalean ingredient. However, we have never seen any reliable clinical data showing that apple cider vinegar actually increases fat metabolism. All we can find is some evidence that apple cider vinegar makes you feel fuller after smaller meals. While this no doubt helps you diet more successfully, it’s nothing special. And again, we don’t know if there is 1mg of apple cider vinegar in Razalean or 721mg!

L-Arginine HCL – DOSE UNKNOWN

L-arginine is an amino acid that is converted into nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide is a powerful vasodilator; this means it makes your blood vessels expand. This can enhance the pump you get in the gym and improve your stamina. This is why arginine is normally found in pre-workouts or pump supplements. But Razalean is a fat burner, not a pre-workout! Arginine will not promote fat loss in any meaningful way.

Caffeine Citrate – DOSE UNKNOWN

Yet more caffeine! This is the third ingredient in Razalean containing caffeine. Given that we aren’t told how any of these ingredients are dosed, the use of three different caffeine-rich ingredients is extremely worrying. We also don’t see the point of using two different forms of caffeine. Caffeine anhydrous is the most potent and purest form of caffeine, so why add this other form?

Turmeric Root Extract – DOSE UNKNOWN

We suspect this is another Razalean ingredient that has been added to ride a popularity wave. Turmeric is definitely a fad “superfood” right now, and it is used in a range of different supplements. We don’t know why Razalean contains turmeric since it has no fat burning properties. It must be because of its broad appeal rather than its efficacy.

CLA – DOSE UNKNOWN

Conjugated linoleic acid, more commonly known as CLA, has been used as a fat burner for a long time. Several studies have shown that CLA is effective at increasing fat loss in humans. Some other studies have shown no results from CLA, and others have shown very minimal fat burning effects. But large doses of CLA likely support fat loss. The problem is that Razalean cannot possibly provide enough CLA for you to see results – the minimum active dose is about 2g per day, while Razalean’s total formula is 722mg.

Garcinia Cambogia (50% HCA) – DOSE UNKNOWN

Garcinian Cambogia used to be the most widely used fat burner and diet pill ingredient on the market. Many people claim that garcinia cambogia suppresses appetite. However, there is absolutely no hard scientific evidence to support this claim. All of the studies done on garcinia cambogia have found that it does little more than make food more satisfying. This could in theory help you diet, but the link is very thin.

Green Coffee Bean Extract (4:1) – DOSE UNKNOWN

Green coffee bean extract is a natural source of chlorogenic acid. Studies have shown that chlorogenic acid helps potentiate insulin and fights insulin insensitivity (which can happen in overweight people). A number of clinical trials have show that high quality green coffee beans extracts can support weight loss. But again, dosage is key. Less than 150mg of green coffee bean extract and there’s no point taking it. Razalean is 722mg IN TOTAL.

Raspberry Ketones – DOSE UNKNOWN

Raspberry ketones are a complete scam. There’s simply no other way to put it. Raspberry ketones have absolutely no effect on fat loss or weight management. There isn’t a single study which has found raspberry ketones ot be effective for fat loss. This ingredient is used because it is extrmeley cheap and because it has the word “ketone” in its name, which makes people imagine it has something to do with ketosis. It doesn’t. Razalean is looking a lot like a scam to us at this point!

Rhodiola rosea – DOSE UNKNOWN

Yet another Razalean ingredient that has absolutely no effect on fat metabolism or athletic performance! Rhodiola rosea is a nootropic used in brain supplements for its ability to reduce stress and anxiety. Rhodiola rosea has no known effect on fat loss or weight gain. It also happens to be quite an expensive nootropic, so why is it in Razalean? We doubt it is present in a high enough dose to suppress anxiety anyway, not that we care with a fat burner!

5HTP – DOSE UNKNOWN

5HTP is as precursor to serotonin, the neurotransmitter that produces feelings of joy, empathy and contentment. It is also involved in controlling digestion. Supplementing with 5HTP does absolutely nothing to help you lose weight. Since it is not well digested or absorbed in this form, 5HTP isn’t even effective for improving mood. Another totally useless Razalean ingredient.

Razalean Before and After Pictures

The Razalean website dedicates a lot of space to showing before and after pictures of happy Razalean users.

Now there is only so much that Razalean before and after pictures can tell you. With a company that doesn’t even have a real address, there’s a good chance some of these are fake, paid for, or manipulated. Even with “real” before and after pictures, we don’t know if the fat burner has actually been responsible for the fat loss as we don’t know what the person has been doing in terms of diet and exercise.

Still, looking at some Razalean before and after pictures is still worth it before buying this fat burner. Here is a selection of pictures showing what supposedly real users saw in terms of weight loss from Razalean:

Razalean Side Effects

What are the side effects risks with Razalean?

Unfortunately, we think Razalean poses serious side effect risks.

The thing that makes us very wary of Razalean is the unknown dose of caffeine anhydrous. There could be as much as 700mg of caffeine anhydrous in Razalean, which would be a ridiculously dangerous dose. We don’t think this is likely, but since we don’t know, we have to consider worst case scenarios.

Razalean side effects

There are multiple different sources of caffeine in Razalean, so the chances you’re getting too much are quite high. Cheap diet pills usually stuff their formulas full of caffeine and then hide behind proprietary blends, which is exactly what Razalean looks to be doing.

We think the likely side effects of using Razalean include:

  • Jitters
  • Hypertension
  • Headaches
  • Heart palpitations
  • Anxiety
  • Irritability
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest pains
  • Insomnia

Since you have no idea how much caffeine you get in each serving of Razalean, we have to recommend that you avoid it completely. Why take the risk?

Is Razalean FDA Approved?

No, Razalean is not FDA approved. Razalean is a dietary supplement, not a medicine, and as such it does not fall under the jurisdiction of the FDA. No natural fat burners are approved by the FDA as the FDA does not regulate natural supplements.

We are not doctors and this is not medical advice. You must do your own research before taking this fat burner. If you experience Razalean side effects, stop using it and seek medical attention immediately.

Razalean Price: Is it worth it?

How much does Razalean cost?

Razalean costs $69.95 a bottle. That is absolutely outrageous for this fat burner.

For all we know, Razalean could be 90% kelp powder and 5% caffeine. It could be 90% caffeine. The point is, we don’t know how much of any ingredient we get. This always, ALWAYS means the formula is stuffed full of the cheapest, least effective ingredients. That is literally the only reason that manufacturers use proprietary blends.

There are plenty of fat burners on the market right now that cost less than Razalean, have transparent, high-quality formulas, and don’t have the same ridiculous side effect risks.

Where to buy Razalean

You can buy Razalean directly form the official website. However, we don’t know if we would advise doing so.

We cannot find any verifiable information abiout the company behind Razalean. The address listed on the website is for a UPS office, not an office or warehouse! We therefore wouldn’t feel comfortable giving them our credit card details!

Can you buy Razalean from Walmart?

Yes you can! Razalean is currently listed for sale on the Walmart website. However, as we said, you need to think carefully about the amount of money you’re paying for a supplement that could be 100% kelp or stuffed full of caffeine.

Is Razalean available from GNC?

As far as we can tell Razalean is not and has never been sold by GNC.

Razalean Review Conclusion: Does it work for fat loss?

Does Razalean really work for fat loss?

We doubt it.

On firts impression Razalean looks like a cheap diet pill, and after reviewing the ingredients, we think that’s exactly what it is. Like all rip-off fat burners, Razalean uses a proprietary blend. The blend contains cheap, useless ingredients that are no doubt being used as fillers to get costs down.

Razalean contains multiple different sources of caffeine. There’s no way to know how any of these ingredients are dosed. There could be 20 mg of caffeine in Razalean, or there could be 700mg – we simply don’t know. Why take the risk? Why would anyone trust a company that doesn’t even list a real address with their health?

No matter what way you look at it, Razalean is a cheap, low quality fat burner with outrageous side effect risks. Better fat burners are available for a lot less money than Razalean.
