Inno Shred Review Overview

Inno Shred is not the best fat burner we’ve ever reviewed on this website; far from it. The main issue with Inno Shred is side effects. The use of synephrine and a large dose of caffeine is going to cause side effects for almost everybody. The price is also crazy high for what you get. However, Inno Shred is also not the worst fat burner we’ve ever reviewed either. It contains several ingredients that are effective for promoting fat loss. All in all, this is not a very good fat burner. Our current top rated fat burner is far superior and costs roughly the same amount of money.

What is Inno Shred?

Inno Shred is a highly popular fat burner made by Innosupps. We have seen a bunch of Innosupps reviews lately as the company has begun advertising heavily on TV and online. Inno Shred is their top selling weight loss product, and we have received numerous requests for a full Inno Shred review from our regular readers.

According to Innosupps, Inno Shred provides the following benefits:

  1. Fat burning support
  2. Metabolism support
  3. Appetite suppression
  4. Powerful thermogenesis

Increased energy isn’t listed as a benefit, which is surprising since Inno Shred contains caffeine. This is potentially a bad thing as many people like to still drink coffee and take pre-workouts with fat burners.

Interestingly, there is no mention of muscle mass protection whatsoever. Preventing lean muscle tissue loss is now something we expect from the best stim-free fat burners.

The question we need to answer first and foremost though is, does Inno Shred really work? Does Inno Shred produce results? What are the side effects? Is it the best caffeine-free fat burner on the market right now? Read our full Inno Shred review below to find out!

Inno Shred Ingredients

What are the ingredients in Inno Shred?

This is the Inno Shred ingredients list as it appears on the bottle:

Inno Shred ingredients

Here is the Inno Shred ingredients list with doses:

  • Green Tea Leaf Extract – 300mg
  • CLA (as goFAT) – 300mg
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract – 300mg
  • Caffeine (PurCafTM) – 200mg
  • Capsicum Fruit Extract – 100mg
  • Citrus Aurantium Fruit Extract – 50mg
  • Grains of Paradise Extract – 25mg
  • Rauwolfia Root Bark Extract – 1mg

We’ll now go through the Inno Shred ingredients individually, explaining what they do, how they work, and whether or not they work for fat loss. We will then talk about Inno Shred’s ingredient side effects.

Green Tea Leaf Extract – 300mg

Green tea extract is a standard fat burner ingredient, and it is great to see it listed as one of the main Inno Shred ingredients. Green tea is rich in EGCG. This is a catechin proven to signifciantly increase fat metabolism in clinical trials. Unfortunately, we don’t know how much EGCG we get from the Inno Shred green tea extract. But we do know that 300mg is a typical dose of green tea used in clinical trials.

CLA (as goFAT) – 300mg

CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid, is often used in fat burners and weight loss supplements. However, we don’t think it deserves its popularity. First of all, CLA has only ever produced results in animal studies, and even then fat loss has been underwhelming. Secondly, CLA is found naturally in lots of common foods, so the extra 300mg you get from Inno Shred is unlikely to make any kind of difference to your fat loss efforts.

Green Coffee Bean Extract – 300mg

Green coffee bean extract is another very common ingredient in fat burners like Inno Shred. Green coffe bean extract is a unique source of chlorogenic acid, which has been found to significantly increase weight loss and prevent excess weight gain in humans. While we don’t know how much chlorogenic acid we get in Inno Shred, the 300mg of green coffee bean extract should provide enough for you to see some benefits.

Caffeine (PurCafTM) – 200mg

This is probably where the vast majority of the benefits of Inno Shred are going to come from. Caffeine is an extremely powerful natural stimulant with multiple different effects which make it useful for fat loss. Caffeine increases energy and suppresses fatigue, helping you train with intensity on an empty stomach. Caffeine also suppresses appetite, making dieting easier. It also has its own slight thermogenic effect, putting you into a deeper caloric deficit.

However, the 200mg of caffeine we get in Inno Shred is quite a lot for your average person. Taking 200mg of pure, highly bioavailable caffeine in a single serving is highly likely to cause side effects.

Capsicum Fruit Extract – 100mg

Capsicum fruit extract is the real thermogenic component of Innosupps Inno Shred fat burner. Capsicum fruit, which includes bell peppers and chilli peppers, is a rich source of capsaicin. This is the oil that gives chilli peppers their heat. Consuming capsaicin triggers a heat response from your body; you sweat, your heart beats faster, and your blood vessels dilate. All of this costs a lot of calories. So consuming capsicum extract (assuming it is high in capsiacin) raises your resting caloric expenditure. This puts you into a deeper relative caloric deficit without having to cut out more food!

Citrus Aurantium Fruit Extract – 50mg

Citrus aurantium is a natural source of a compound called synephrine. This is often used in cheap diet pills as it is said to be structurally similar to ephedrine – an extremely powerful CNS stimulant known to produce rapid weight loss. There are two problems with Inno Shred using synephrine. First, synephrine has never been found to increase weight loss in human clinical trials. Second, synephrine may cause severe side effects, especially when combined with caffeine (of which we get 200mg in Inno Shred).

Grains of Paradise Extract – 25mg

There is absolutely no evidence that consuming grains of paradise extract can increase or accelerate fat loss. There isn’t a single clinical trial showing that consuming grains of paradise leads to greater weight loss or improved body composition in humans. We have no idea why Inno Shred uses this ingredient! Other fat burners like Inno Shred also use grains of paradise, so it may be a passing fad.

Rauwolfia Root Bark Extract – 1mg

This is an unusual one. You will not see many fat burners using rauwolfia root extract. And there’s a good reason for that – there is no evidence that it does anything! Rauwolfia Root is a natural source of a phytochemical called resperine which is known to help reduce blood pressure. But it has never been studied in the context of fat loss, and there is no reason to think that it promotes weight loss in any way. Another dud Inno Shred ingredient offering nothing but side effects!

Is Inno Shred a pre-workout?

Innosupps recommend taking 1 Inno Shred capsule first thing in the am and 1 in the afternoon or taking both pre workout. Taking Inno Shred as a pre-workout will definitely improve workout performance due to the caffeine content.

Is Inno Shred a pre-workout

However, we usually recommend using a caffeine-free fat burner at the same time every single day and then adding in a caffeinated pre-workout if you feel it is necessary. This helps maximize fat loss on a round-the-clock basis, which produces the best results over the long-term.

Inno Shred Results: Before and After

Before buying a fat burner like Inno Shred, it is worth looking at what kind of results other people have gotten from it.

Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of Inno Shred before and after pictures available online. There are lots of user reviews and testimonials, but they are all either written or filmed after the user has finished using Inno Shred. This tells us nothing about how effective the fat burner really was for them!

Inno Shred Side Effects

What are the side effects of Inno Shred fat burner?

After reviewing the ingredients, we think side effects are a real concern with Innosupps Inno Shred.

Inno Shred contains 200mg of caffeine per serving. This alone makes side effects a serious concern. Consuming this much pure caffeine in a single dose is bound to cause side effects regardless of your caffeine tolerance.

Innoshred Side Effects

Couple this with synephrine and the residual amounts of caffeine in green tea extract and green coffee bean extract and we have a serious issue. Synephrine is known to have a synergistic effect with caffeine, as well as causing side effects of its own very similar to the side effects associated with other stimulants.

So all things considered, we do not think Inno Shred is a safe supplement at all. The likely side effects of Inno Shred include:

  • Jitters
  • Anxiety
  • Hypertension
  • Heart palpitations
  • Shortness of breath
  • Irritability
  • Insomnia
If you do experience Inno Shred side effects, stop using the fat burner immediately and seek medical attention. It is vital that you do your own research before using Innosupps Inno Shred. Talk to your doctor before stacking Inno Shred with other fat burners or pre-workouts.

Inno Shred Review Conclusion: What does Inno Shred do?

What does Inno Shred actually do?

Inno Shred claims to be a powerful thermogenic fat burner that will promote lipolysis 24/7.

Using Inno Shred will certainly help lots of you lose weight faster. The green tea extract and green coffee bean extract will both work via different pathways to maximize lipolysis and minimize body fat gain. The caffeine will help you blast through intensive workouts, and the capsicum extract will trigger thermogenesis to put you into a deper caloric deficit.

However, Inno Shred is far from the most effective fat burner on the market today. Nor is it the best value fat burner you can get for your money. It contains some awful ingredients that do nothing for fat loss, although they do come with side effect risks.

Side effect risks are a MAJOR ISSUE with Inno Shred; the combination of 200mg of pure caffeine with synephrine makes severe side efefcts highly likely.

With a normal sale price of $69.99, we don’t think Inno Shred is worth the money at all. You can get significantly better fat burners for a lot less than that, and they don’t come with such striking side effect risks!
