The 2005 NARSTO Executive Assembly was held April 11 and 12 at the Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 2005 Assembly featured installation of a new Management Coordinator and a fond farewell to the outgoing Manaagement Coordinator, Jake Hales. Jake was instrumental in establishing NARSTO, and he made many important contributions to the organization since its founding 10 years ago.
In addition to passing the torch, the Executive Assembly rolled out the NARSTO Emission Inventory Assessment, and it featured a forum on enhancing collaboration between the air quality and health effects research communities.
The Executive Assembly also reviewed the status and current activities of the Reactivity Research Working Group, NARSTO’s role in climate research, and it discussed subjects for future NARSTO assessments.
The attached files provide more detail on the Assembly and its conclusions.
