The Reactivity Research Working Group (RRWG) was established to provide an improved scientific basis for reactivity-related regulatory policies. The Group brings together all parties actively interested in sponsoring, planning, performing or assessing policy-relevant scientific research on the reactivities of organic compounds that affect the formation of ozone, PM2.5, and regional haze. The Group works to coordinate reactivity research and, working with key policy makers, it defines potential regulatory applications of this knowledge.
The 1999 RRWG Science Assessment document is provided below along with other RRWG documents. In 2007, Dr. Jeremy Hales completed a critical assessment of the work of the RRWG. This assessment is posted under the "NARSTO REPORTS" section of this website, and it can be found by clicking here.
